The story of CDM begins in an appartment. The year is 1986, and Ms. Helene Krogh has just started the telemarketing agency, Canvass Marketing. It is busy. In the appartment, phoners are calling and taking notes. Paper is everywhere. The phoner's questionnaires, time registrations, and memory pads are piled up on tables by the phones.
Soon an urgent need for systematizing the phoners' work arises. Ms. Krogh hires a system developer to make a computer based telemarketing system in order to manage all data. The system's concept is outlined by Mr. Erik Rosenkrantz, a partner to Ms. Krogh. The following year in 1987, the system is finished.
From then on everything happens fast. In 1988, CDM Sales Systems has been established headed by Mr. Rosenkrantz, and Canvass Marketing changes its name to CDM TeleMarketing. And of course, CDM Sales Systems has a sales system of its own.
Both the business and the systems develop according to new needs and market trends. In 1994, the first Windows installations are introduced after a major re-programming. And by the end of the 90's, all businesses are joined as CDM A/S headed by Ms. Krogh and Mr. Rosenkrantz.
In 2007, upon the invitation of Microsoft, CDM joins Microsoft in a strategic partnership - and the Microsoft Partner Community is strengthened by the unique constellation of CDM's long experience with industry-specific CRM solutions and the powerful Microsoft Technology. In 2008, the CDM Optimize Pharma Solution is launched.
Now as always, focus is on optimizing the customer's sales and marketing.
